Hello Douglas Community,
Due to scheduling conflicts, there will be no Unified Basketball practice tomorrow.
Our first practice will now be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 3:15 PM in the Middle School Gym. The first game is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 1st. We are just waiting for final confirmation from the opposing Athletic Director, and I will send out more information once it is confirmed.
We are still looking for additional students to participate as Unified partners and play alongside our Unified athletes. This is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people, and help make Unified Basketball an awesome experience for everyone!
Unified partners can also earn community service hours for their participation. No basketball experience is necessary, and we would love to have more students join us.

We are excited to get our Unified Basketball season underway! Our first practice will be this Thursday at 3:15 PM. The location is still being finalized, and we will send that information out as soon as possible.
Our first game is right around the corner on Tuesday, September 22nd!
Right now, we have a very limited number of students registered, and Coach Beauchimn and I would love to see more students get involved. Unified Basketball is a great opportunity for students of all abilities to compete, have fun, make new friends, and represent Douglas.
No prior basketball experience is necessary, and there is no cost to participate. Whether you have played basketball for years or have never played before, we would love to have you be part of the team!
If you are interested, please register through Arbiter/FamilyID as soon as possible and plan to join us Thursday at 3:15.
Please help us spread the word and encourage students who might be interested to come out and give Unified Basketball a try!

A representative from Curry College will be present to give the college side of what to expect when applying for Financial Aid.
