Douglas High School students in Grades 9, 10, and 11 will be bringing their school-issued Chromebooks and chargers home for the summer. The high school will not be collecting devices at the end of the school year this year.
Students are expected to keep both their Chromebook and charger in a safe place over the summer and return with them on the first day of school fully charged and ready to go.
Providing students with access to their devices over the summer allows them to work on research, summer assignments and projects, college and career planning, and other educational opportunities.
Even if students do not plan to actively use the Chromebook during the summer, all students are still expected to take their device and charger home with them.
If your student will not be returning to Douglas Public Schools in the fall, please notify the high school office and return the Chromebook and charger prior to the student’s last day.
